- What we did
- Muharraqi Studios was commissioned directly by Grnata Group to create a new generation of architectural renderings for Golden Gate Towers at Bahrain Bay, representing the development as it continued under its new ownership and direction. The work evolved imagery and 3D material developed during the earlier Golden Gate commission while incorporating the changes introduced by Grnata to the project.
About the project
The Grnata commission represents a rare opportunity for Muharraqi Studios to return to the same major Bahrain Bay development at a later stage in its life.
Rather than recreating everything from zero, selected elements of the earlier visualization work could be retained and developed while the towers themselves were updated to reflect the current project.
The new renderings incorporated Grnata’s evolving project presentation, including changes to branding application, textures, materials, façade patterns and selected tower details, together with the wider visual treatment required for the development’s current marketing. Muharraqi Studios worked from the client’s updated architectural and project information and translated those changes into new high-resolution exterior CGI.
The studio did not design the towers or the Grnata brand identity. Its role was to create and refine the architectural visualization so the updated development could be communicated accurately and convincingly.
Because Muharraqi Studios had previously visualized both the wider Bahrain Bay masterplan and the earlier Golden Gate scheme, the studio already held extensive knowledge of the site, skyline and surrounding urban context. That continuity allowed the new work to evolve naturally from the project’s earlier visualization history.
Outcome
The resulting renderings support Grnata Group’s ongoing marketing, property sales and project presentation for Golden Gate Towers as the development continues through construction. Together with the earlier Golden Gate and Bahrain Bay masterplan work, the project forms part of a long-running visualization history in which Muharraqi Studios has repeatedly returned to Bahrain Bay as the district, developers and individual buildings have evolved.
