- What we did
- Muharraqi Studios produced the exterior architectural visualization and marketing CGI for the original Golden Gate development at Bahrain Bay, working directly with Kooheji and the development team before the project’s public launch. The towers were visualized within Muharraqi Studios’ existing 3D Bahrain Bay masterplan environment, allowing the project to be presented as part of the future Manama waterfront skyline rather than as an isolated building.
About the project
Golden Gate was conceived as a major twin-tower residential development at Bahrain Bay.
The visualization was commissioned for marketing and property sales, requiring the architecture to be presented convincingly at a stage when prospective buyers could not yet experience the completed towers.
Muharraqi Studios created the exterior renderings and worked closely with the client and development team throughout the visualization process.
As with many architectural visualization commissions, the work was not simply a matter of placing a supplied model into a scene. Materials, façade appearance, proportions, surrounding context and visual presentation were reviewed with the client as the project developed, with the visualization helping the team evaluate how the towers should ultimately appear within Bahrain Bay.
The underlying architectural project remained the work of its development and design teams; Muharraqi Studios’ role was architectural visualization, presentation and visualization-led refinement, not architectural authorship.
Outcome
The completed renderings provided the original Golden Gate development team with high-resolution marketing and sales imagery showing the proposed towers within the wider Bahrain Bay environment. The original development later changed ownership and continued under a new developer. That later stage became a separate Muharraqi Studios commission for Grnata Group, allowing the studio to return to the same site and evolve the visualization for the project’s next phase.
