- Built the Sadayem masterplan as a full CityView interactive masterplan and sales system, rebuilding the environment as project data evolved and adding generic massing where parcels were not yet defined
About the project
Sadayem is a major NHC destination in north Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, covering more than 3.8 million m² and planned for more than 8,000 villas, apartments and townhouses, with architecture influenced by Hijazi identity and extensive pedestrian and green infrastructure. Muharraqi Studios delivered the project together with its Saudi partners.
The studio built the project as a full CityView interactive masterplan and sales system: interactive 3D masterplan navigation, property and project presentation, backend sales and availability information, supporting architectural imagery, and presentation modes suited to sales centres and exhibitions. Because the project data was evolving during production and not all supplied 3D information was complete, substantial portions of the masterplan environment were built and rebuilt as the project developed; where buildings or parcels did not yet have finalized architectural information, the studio created generic architectural massing so the masterplan could be presented as a complete and visually coherent destination. This is visualization, not architectural design.
The system was prepared for direct property sales, Cityscape presentation in Saudi Arabia, NHC sales centres, exhibitions and internal and client presentations. Muharraqi Studios has also delivered CityView systems for other NHC destinations, including Al-Khuzam and Al-Fursan.
Outcome
The completed CityView environment gave NHC a reusable interactive sales and presentation platform for Sadayem, capable of supporting direct property presentation at Cityscape and in its sales centres. Sadayem remains an active development.
