About the project
Dareen Beach Park is a coastal public park in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, developed by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Muharraqi Studios did not design the project: it worked closely with CivicArts and the Royal Commission to visualize the approved park, its landscape, shoreline and public realm.
The work included multiple architectural and landscape visualizations and a 360° virtual tour, created to communicate and present the future public project.
The main technical challenge was keeping approximately 8,000 planting and tree elements, across a very large variety of plant species, in their correct places throughout the visualization.
Outcome
A set of architectural and landscape visualizations and a 360° virtual tour that presented the future park before it was built. The park has since been completed.
