Modern Day Vampire is the title of this piece… In these dark times we as artists have the difficult challenge to inspire and support … sadness, strength hope or even fear… I must say that I was focused on the fear side of these crazy circumstances that the world is going through at this time.
Here is my concept.. it starts with a strange creature the BatS ?, and since the Bats have always been known as supernatural creatures.. such as the vampires.. here it resembles a vampire sucking the blood from the planet ?, starting from Asia, draining the world dray by killing everyone and everything, it then grows these roots that are spreading into the earth, and that resembles the continuous nonstop growth and spread of the disease… it’s like a zombie that has no target other than feed.
