In the face of gut-wrenching circumstances, my latest artwork delves deep into the haunting journey of Palestinian women and children. With their meager belongings in tow, they embark on a treacherous odyssey by foot, desperately seeking refuge in unfamiliar lands.

Recent news exposes a harrowing reality that shatters our souls: the Israeli army mercilessly forces Palestinians to uproot their lives, coercing them towards Rafah. Yet, what awaits them at the culmination of this arduous path is not salvation but a cataclysmic explosions an ominous portent of the unfathomable perils they endure. Millions are thrust into migration, their lives teetering on the precipice of despair and uncertainty. Meanwhile, the rest of the world carries on, seemingly oblivious or callously indifferent to their indescribable suffering.

We must arouse ourselves from our apathy, cast aside our complacency, and confront the painful truth that unfolds before us. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye any longer; we must open our hearts and minds to the profound magnitude of this ongoing tragedy.

The weight of this unfathomable calamity is further amplified by the staggering loss of 28,000 Palestinian lives at the hands of a relentless occupation.
